The New Jersey Biotechnology Chemistry Consortium (NJBCC) is a non-profit organization currently composed of seven companies located within the central region of New Jersey. NJBCC was founded on April 1, 2008. Membership in the NJBCC is open to all small and medium sized companies with a chemistry staff of less than 100 individuals at the time of induction. Companies composing the consortium are typically engaged in chemical research and development of new pharmaceuticals, flavors and fragrances, catalysts, synthetic methodology, or technology platforms that serve to accelerate new discoveries. We also encourage degree-granting colleges and universities which maintain a regular department of chemistry, biochemistry, or related department to join us as an academic member.

NJBCC was founded to meet an unserved yet essential role in facilitating continuing educational opportunities for scientific staff of member companies by organizing and hosting a lecture series with pre-eminant academicians. By combining both monetary and human resources from smaller companies, the consortium is able to efficiently provide opportunities that would be difficult and cost prohibitive to organize by individual organizations. The lectures are expected to provide an ideal medium for networking between the various companies scientific staffs and world-renowned academic scientists.

Events organized by NJBCC are exclusive to attendance by membership only. If you are interested in becoming a member please contact a member of the executive committee of the NJBCC for further information.
